!!Jai Hanumatey Namah!!
Hello frens
This is my first dish i am posting on my blog so what could be better then sharing a dessert with u all.
"Kheer" is widely eaten in Indian subcontinent. It is a pudding made with rice and milk as core ingredients.
"Kheer-e-khas" is very near to my heart and has lot of memories attached with it.
this is the dish which made me meet the God of cooking world "The Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor" when i participated in a cooking contest "cook for me" organised by wonderchef.

"Kheer-e-khas" |
This is very different from the traditional kheer recipe. I have used different flavoring agents and low calorie sweeteners in my kheer to give it a healthier version. Though, desserts can't be totally calories free and i have also used sugar for making my natural flavoring agents.
Sandalwood and rose was my choice for preparing the syrups as both of them provide great flavors and gives a cooling effect.
Dates are used to provide added sweetness and flavors to the dish due to its beneficial properties of being an immune booster and strengthening bones.
The crunch of fresh apples, pomegranate and softness of mango alongwith almonds, walnuts, raisins and cashews added gems to my lady.
I dont have the pics of the dessert preparation but can share one more pic illustrating the constituents.
